Vishwa Thapa (26) og Durga Lamichhane (25) er fra Nepal. De er Røde Kors Ungdomsdelegater i Akershus 2008-09.
The Akershus district is known as a successful district to mobilize youths. The Bærum Red Cross Youth group was one of eight active local groups in Akershus. But when we arrived at our district, this group was not functioning, so we started to think how we could get the group back in action.

On the 6th of May we were invited by Hamar Red Cross to hold a presentation about human trafficking in Nepal and projects on Børstad middle school in Hamar.

Active Choice is one of the major focus activities of Norwegian Red Cross Youth. The main objective is to make young people more aware of sexual health. On 20th April to 22nd April we held a course in Active Choice.

We were so excited to visit Bergen on 17th of April. And it was going to be a wonderful trip with the leader and next leader of Akershus Red Cross Youth. All of the youth delegates where gathered again and joined in the fight against human trafficking.

Red Cross became the most interesting place for the school students who wanted to work as a school practice. Many youths want to work in Red Cross for their practise since the Red Cross has many attractive activities for them.
