The first day we were welcomed and taken care of by volunteers in Bergen Red Cross Youth. We had a nice dinner together. We eagerly waited for the next day, because on that day it was going to be a big happening. From the beginning of the next morning, everyone was happy and had a great load of enthusiasm. It was the big arrangement of different things to perform.

An auction was one of the activities of the stand. We were doing different kinds of role-play pretending we were victims of human trafficking. Some were selling people and some were buying. It was a huge success because it helped to create big curiosity in that mass of people, as well as we succeeded to catch the attention of the people passing by. We also managed to give information about human trafficking. We distributed leaflets about the problem and situation of human trafficking and gave information about humanitarian forum in Bergen.

Atmosphere in Bergen

Sightseeing was another part of program. It is really hard to explain the beauty of the city, and it was incredible. I will never forget the praiseworthy hospitality of Bergen Youth and the beauty of Bergen. It was matching together. It was amazing.

 

The program was arranged very systematically. First day it was a social gathering of the Red Cross Youth. The second day it was a big happening in the center of Bergen city. We did many activities that day. We collected a lot of money to support anti-human trafficking in Nepal, Croatia and Serbia. Our stand became very attractive in that public place, it was decorated very nicely with many balloons and many colorful and informative posters.

 

All the youth delegates where gathered in what was going to be a successful fight against human trafficking.
