COLOMBIAN CARNIVAL IN NORWAY

As part of the Colombia Campaign, Gustavo Oviedo and Paola Tello organized a Colombian Carnival last Friday in Red Cross house in Lillestrøm. Colombian food, traditional children games, music, dance and a lot of fun were part of this unique party in Norway. The event met at least 40 people and left 4 winners in the category: Best salsa dancer.

BODØ SPEAKS SPANISH!

Last weekend Colombian delegates were in Bodø to cooperate with Red Cross Youth in the Colombia campaign. Some of the many latin-american and norwegian people that speak spanish and live there, joined the activities and a great feeling of satisfaction after the weekend was the best result that we could have in this windy, but friendly city.

COLOMBIA IS PASSION!!!

”When Catastrophe hits” is a project of Norwegian Red Cross, and this year it is focused on Colombia. Last weekend there was a gathering in Oslo, around 50 people took part in the Kick off. One more time the Colombian Youth Delegates showed that Colombia is Passion.

A Correct Decision

The first weekend in Lillestrøm was a surprise for me because I had the opportunity to participate in my first activity with volunteers and young people in the role play “På Flukt”.

FIRST EMOTIONS…

It is almost two month that Paola and me have arrived to Norway, and have started our work with Norwegian Red Cross. We have a lot of expectations from this new life style; thus we’re very glad to have this opportunity to know Nordic Country.
